Chemical data programming into battery pack can be done by simple steps of:

-     start EV Software

-     click bqEasy button

-     go directly to “Chemistry” tab

-     click “Yes, Enable chemistry selection

-     click on the line with required chemical ID, for example 0203

-     click “OK, Update Fuel Gauge Data Flash”. Note that programming takes about 1 minute

New chemical ID data will be written to device data flash. The data-flash content is now the same as would be after programming chemistry specific senc. New chem ID can be verified by sending MA command 0008.

    After this procedure an senc with new chemistry can be exported for future use, or pack can be used to do learning cycle and for exporting golden data-flash image.

If you did not find chemical ID for your device in bqEasy list, it is possible that you

have not up-to date chemistry data. To assure that you are up to date, you can download and install the latest chemistry updater.
